R & R Workshop: DIY Burlap & Ribbon Pennant Garland

DIY Burlap & Ribbon Pennant Garland

Originally, I made this Garland to put above my daughters crib but it added a fun touch to her first birthday party a few months ago! I wanted to add something different to a plain-old burlap garland. Ribbon was just the thing it needed :)

Ribbon Pennant Garland

You will need:
//Paper & pen
// 1/2 yard burlap (or more depending on how big you want your garland)
//Ribbon for edges of pennants
//string or ribbon to hang
//Glue gun and hot glue
//Scissors
//Letter Stamps and fabric paint(optional)

Directions:
1. Draw pennants on paper.
2. Cut paper and trace onto burlap.
3. Cut all your pennants out.

4. Glue ribbon to border the pennant.

(Optional: If you choose to, stamp whatever you would like onto your pennants. I chose my daughter's name since this is above her bed.)

6. Hot glue string or ribbon to the back of each pennant.

7. All ready to hang!
