R & R Workshop: Simple ways to decorate mason Jars

Simple ways to decorate mason Jars

Mason jars add simple touches to your decor. Here are have 2 different ways you can decorate them!

//1. Ribbon or fabric. This cute little jar is in my daughter's bedroom. The flowers are from my wedding day. We had real flowers in my bouquet and bridesmaids etc. But these are the flowers we had on our tables at our reception. I wasn't very good about saving my wedding bouquet so I'm so happy to have these as a special keepsake.

The ruffled ribbon I found at wal-mart and used my good ole glue gun to glue it around the top. It adds such a cute, girly touch to the mason jar. I put tulle inside as well too add another little bit of cuteness.

//2. Washi Tape! I am loving washi tape and all that you can do with it! And that its not permanent so if you get bored of it..just peel it off.

I used black with white polka dots to this jar. Just 3 simple stripes around my mason jar.

This drinking cup was just calling for some color. Sometimes its hard to tell all our cups apart, so I added a simple little chevron stripe to one side. You could also right an initial or full name if you wanted. Just a simple little change to an ordinary cup.

I LOVE repurposing items, but especially jars because it seems like we all have them.I know our readers would love this, too. We have a weekly link up party going on now (Thursdays), and we would love to see this post and/or any others you would like to share at allthingswithpurpose.com. Hope to see you soon!
