R & R Workshop: DIY Tulle & Mint Mason Jars (Tutorial)

DIY Tulle & Mint Mason Jars (Tutorial)

Hope your week is going well! We are packing and getting ready to move into a new house!(well new to us).  I wanted to share these fun mason jars.. I love the pop of color!

Mint green is one of colors I'm loving these days. So fresh and airy. Of course, I love tulle and all the girlyness it adds. Since Summer is here I wanted to paint the lids of our mason jars for a little fun.
Now I think I want to plan a party! They turned out so cute!

You will need:
//Mason Jars
//Aryclic Paint or spray paint
//paint brush

STEP ONE: Paint your mason jars. I didn't have mint green paint on had, so I mixed yellow and two shades of blue.

Let them dry and set aside.

STEP TWO: Cut your tulle into a square that will cover your mason jar opening and hang over the side.

STEP THREE: Place your tulle on top the opening and then add the lid ring. Cut the excess off tulle off. You can decide how much you want to hang over.

STEP FOUR: If you want to make a cute cup to drink from:
Cut a small hole at the top for a straw to go through.

If you want to make a decorative jar:
Cut the tulle in the middle out so there is an opening.

Such a fun pop of color! These would be great party decor for
baby showers, birthday parties, weddings or just for fun!
You can try this without the tulle too.. still a fun change to the typical mason jars :)

I like that you colored the rim! I've been putting my flowers in large mason jars too, but never thought to change the color! Cute!
