R & R Workshop: Orange Sticky Chicken Recipe

Orange Sticky Chicken Recipe

We have had some hot days here in Idaho and I'm excited for a little bit cooler weather. I can't wait for Fall! As much as I love my crock-pot recipes, there are a few family favorites that require the oven. Even in hot weather we will make this recipe anyway because we love it so much!

Ingredients:
3-4 chicken breasts or tenderloin
1/2 bottle bbq sauce
1 small jar apricot pinapple jam
2 T. soy sauce
egg
cornstarch or flour

1.Dip chicken in beaten egg.
2. Flour & layer chicken in a sprayed 9x13 pan.
3. Mix bbq sauce, jam & soy sauce together and pour over chicken. Add more sauce if you need to. I usually taste mine and add more jam because I like it a little sweeter.
4. Bake at 375* for 30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
4. Serve over white or brown rice.

Any recipe that I can make for dinner in under an hour is a winner in my book! Hope you enjoy it! :)

Yum! This look absolutely delicious. I love orange chicken but never make it at home. Guess it is time for me to give it a try.

is it called "orange" because of the color or could I use orange marmalade instead?
