No-Sew Charlie Brown Costume

I'm excited to share this easy no-sew costume as part of a fun series with C.R.A.F.T & Really Awesome Costumes

My kids have been watching old episodes of Charlie Brown on Netflix. They really don't make cartoons like they used to, by the way. lol. My son had a yellow t-shirt that his grandma bought and it dawned on me that I could add a black zig zag and it would be a charlie brown shirt. So I did. Add some black shorts or pants and there ya go!

You will need:
//1/2 yard Black felt
//Glue Gun & glue sticks
//scissors

1. Determine how thick you want your zig zag to be. You can draw on the felt or cut it out free hand.
I ended up cutting 2 or 3 different pieces and then aligning them up to go all around the shirt.

2. Glue your zig zag pieces to the shirt. Excuse my glue gun- it gets a lot of use!

3. Add black shorts or black pants.
 All done!

I love how it turned out!! Any costume that you can make using things you already have is awesome in my book!

This is too cute. I'm always on the lookout for easy and cute costumes for my little toddler. I have to take advantage of these young years before he starts choosing his own costumes :-) I’d love for you to share this over at Tell Me Tuesday: http://www.aromaofhim.com/2013/09/tell-me-tuesday.html

Have a wonderful week!
