R & R Workshop: Fist & Finger Pumpkins (Fall Kids Crafts)

Fist & Finger Pumpkins (Fall Kids Crafts)

I'm trying to do more crafts with my kids The thought of doing a craft with my 22 month kind of worries me (haha) she loves to get into everything! This is a craft I did with my five year old and I loved how it turned out.

Originally I wanted to do the feet ghosts I've seen, but we didn't have white paint. I started thinking what I could do with all the orange paint I have and figured we could make a pumpkin with our hands or something. We decided to use our fist and a finger for the stem. Simple and so cute.

You really only need a few things-
- cardstock
-orange & green paint like this on here.
-foam paint brush. Love this pack of 25- I'm always needing more brushes!

For the Pumpkin: Have your child make a fist and paint it orange. We practiced a few times before we figured out the best way to make a circle.

For the stem: Paint your child's pointer finger green and press down right above the orange fist pumpkin.

Store bought decorations are nice, but it makes me happy to see my kids artwork or projects displayed in our home.

What a sweet memento, especially if you do a serious of them every year and watch the pumpkins "grow."
