R & R Workshop: Cooling Rack Christmas Card Holder (Tutorial)

Cooling Rack Christmas Card Holder (Tutorial)

Christmas will be here sooner then we think so in between the Thanksgiving posts I will have a few Christmas posts as well :)

I know what your thinking.. A cooling rack? Yep. You know those packs of three cooling racks that stack? Well.. I never used all three. They were just taking up space and I almost donated them. But I didn't and they sat in the cupboard for months. Well one day while thinking what I could use them for, I thought they would be perfect to display our Christmas cards from friends & family!

Remember the DIY Striped Clothespins I made a few months ago? They work perfect to hold all the cards! I found a glitter "Merry Christmas" at the dollar store and attached it to a clothespin. I also added ribbon to a few as well.

All I did was bend the legs of the cooling rack so it made the cooling lay flat. I measured the length of the cooling rack and put nails into the wall to hang.

How easy was that?! How are you displaying your cards this year?

I have a three pack of these always and the other two are just taking up space in the cabinet. Thanks for giving me an idea of what to do with them! We'll be featuring this over at Someday Crafts tomorrow :)

Love love love! Inexpensive and quirky. You could even spray paint them gold (or whatever color you like) to match your holiday decor. Great idea, thank you!
